The biggest problem for them is being in position at the base of the Cipressa so someone needs to do that. Hopefully Novak can be that person cause Pollit isn’t great at positioning

True but with no super tough climbs and only a TTT I could see UAE playing numbers with Christian, Almeida and someone else to work over the others like they did to Van Gils in Andalucia

How much time do you expect UAE to take on GC? Bora Ineos and Bahrain don’t have great TTT teams so I could see them losing close to a minute. Vacek could be close from Trek but I expect UAE to drop him in stage 2

I see your point but if this year was anything to go off he would need more punch to win the hilly stages and I don’t think there will be a ton of mountain stage breaks, especially if Remco gets to the level of the other 2

That’s a crazy take. With no mountain breakaways winning in this era I don’t think he gets more than 1 a year

Politt at this TDF was insanely good. Watching the big guys like him, Bjerg and Wout drop all the small climbers is always funny
