At the end of the day, their only tangible justification that exists in reality for banning trans people from gendered spaces, is the same justification that race segregationists used to ban people of colour from "white people spaces".

I thoroughly destroyed this person's exact anti-LGBT extremist talking points the other day, and they blocked me because when their "facts" didn't hold up under basic scrutiny, they just fell back on "I want trans apartheid because something something biological sex or whatever".

Their extremist world view simply can't hold up to actual objective fact-based scrutiny, so rather than consider that they might have been lied to about trans people (and propagating those lies), they blocked.

You wouldn't find a trans person on this planet who thinks that a prisoner should be allowed to "I'm trans" and to be transferred the same day. Longer-term medical transition would be a necessity for *anybody* to accept that.

The study you cling to doesn't break this down into subcategories, but given that sex work has become so necessary for trans women to literally survive, it wouldn't suprise me at all if most of the number you cited were caught doing prostitution in order to put food on the table.

It's also a fact that sex work is categorised under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 category you cited, and given trans women are generally more prone to being forced into sex work because most regular businesses (about 2/3rds by last anonymous survey) won't hire a trans person.

While you may not personally want ALL of these, but if you have 10 different groups demanding trans people be excluded from a different 1/10th of society, all members of those 10 groups are collectively calling for apartheid for trans people.

When you consider that extremists are saying, without evidence, that trans people should have their own toilets, their own changing rooms, their own sports teams, their own prison facilities, their own clothes shops, and banned from the "normal people" versions of these spaces, THAT is apartheid.

Isolation that's typically only used briefly for prisoners who misbehave.
It's rightly considered torture to do this to anybody.
