It's heart wrenching to read about someone who so desperately sought help and even had a support system - who still lost his life due to the healthnoncare system in our country. It's also very alarming to those of us who are or have loved ones struggling with mental illness.

I'm not a church goer myself, *except for many meetings hosted (at no charge) by local churches for environmental, mutual aid & other activist groups. 2/2

I love the poster, but not this invitation - which many have gladly accepted - to express intolerance for a very large & diverse group of people. I have met hateful church people and wonderful people of faith. 1/2

But he didn't say this. He is a more liberal leaning leader, but the more political quotes - especially if they use inflammatory terms like "woke" - that are being attributed to him are usually false.

I saw some criticizing Mr. Snyder's move, to the point of ridiculously claiming that this invalidates all of his previous antifascist writings(!) And when I argued with them, I was accused of worshipping Snyder like a god. Sigh.

Drivers are still kind of nutty here in suburban & rural Oregon. Lots of semi-suicidal maneuvers - speeding, but also running red lights & stop signs, passing on curves, etc.
