What an embarrassment Trump and Vance are to this country. Schoolyard bullies. The only silver lining I see here is that my mother, 82 and Republican, who voted for Trump, is disgusted by how Zelensky was treated. Her generation remembers communist Russia.

For some context, the entire federal Medicaid budget for 2023 was 871 billion and for food stamps 166 billion. In other words, the proposed Republican budget, which has a chance of passing given Republican control of both seats of Congress, would entirely eliminate Medicaid and food stamps.

What is this even? I mean aside from grandiose narcissism…like how are The Chiefs DEI and The Eagles funded by US AID?
