There’s too much focus on the midterms right now. It distracts from the fact that the Congress and Senate are too reluctant to do anything to save our country RIGHT NOW. Enough town halls and memes. We the People are PO’d! Our reps need to get to work when they go back to Washington on Sept. 2nd.

The contact page at whitehouse.gov is still processing messages. Definitely send a protest message about Friday’s disastrous meeting with Zelensky. I did.

Another big lie: Trump had no intentions of “making America great again.” The opposite is happening. He’s attached his wrecking ball to the raised hand of the Statue of Liberty. If we can’t convince others to help us resist, I don’t know how much we’ll be able to salvage in the rubble of freedom.

Musk doesn’t have presidential immunity. If he disobeys a court order, he should be charged with contempt of court.

The CDC website now conforms with Trump’s executive order. There are trustworthy medical websites that aren’t run by the federal government. The American Medical Association has a website.

In addition to sending protest messages to or calling your representatives, use the contact option at whitehouse.gov - yeah, let Trump’s staff know how displeased you are with his executive orders, MUSK, proposed ethnic cleansing of Gaza, etc

Trump’s wanting to take over Gaza reeks of an ethnic cleansing attempt. Not many Americans want to start a war, either. What’s more, a takeover wouldn’t be for the benefit for us or Israel. It would give Trump his “Riveria of the Middle East” where he could establish another Mir-A-Lago.

Developing story on ABC: Trump plans to go to the Super Bowl game. Many people including me were going to have potluck buffets and watch the game. Maybe it’s too late to organize a boycott?

Watch out for junk mail in text messages. The latest fake group wanted donations to help keep MSNBC on the air because Trump wants to shut it down.
