Punishing people for the cruelties it has already committed against them is the entire history of colonialism and fascism. That, and the global, systemic abuse and suppression of women and girls is the entire playbook. Trump’s regime is nothing new. Imperialism dominates through brutality.

Here in Montgomery County, citizen activists came out immediately to protest Abrego Garcia’s illegal arrest. Van Hollen, his great team and passionate constituents pushed this case. It’s going to take all of us.
