The Republicans set their own agenda when they were out of power. They CRT'd themselves back into controlling Congress.

Their superpower is knowing how to control the conversation no matter what.

Democrats have to start doing that. Right now is the time to start. Reactive politics fail.

Then say that instead of “I have a shitty job so KH doesn’t get a break.” My point was the reason we saw her everywhere before (as OP implied) was due to her campaigning. That wasn’t her schedule as VP. Her responsibilities as VP & as a presidential candidate are two separate things.

This and a significant portion of Biden voters didn't bother to show up. They sent a clear message she isn't the one. All the people talking about how she's institutional, complicit in Palestine and wasn't elected because there wasn't a primary. They got what they wanted, she's letting 'em have it.

Conflating 2 different points. I did not say it was "not uncommon." I said it was unhealthy & unreasonable. You can't convince me that lady should be pushed out on a stage like a robot (for the sake of optics) because other people also have shitty jobs. Tried it w/ Biden & got his debate performance

Don't put words in my mouth. I said one individual, who still has an entire staff working on her behalf, might actually need a break. That was all.

Did my point that KH may *actually* need a break somehow imply that I wouldn't also think a person doing manual labor for 528+ days doesn't also deserve a break?

I don't think it's healthy for any person to work 100+ days with no days off in any profession so I'm not sure what your question is getting at?

This! She had no days off & I am sure she's managing her own disappointment. Give her a break.
