Waleed is tone deaf. I've read his work for a while now, and still can't grasp whether he has any logic with his analyis. There seems a desperate need to cling to a childish version of political reality, where somehow there is a good guy waiting to rescue everyone. Fascists don't care.

Very disappointed with this government. They could've been genuinely reformist, if cautious, but instead seem to largely echoe the previous RW governments. It's the small things like this which slip under the radar. No wonder folk are cynical about major parties (and I'm a family rusted ALP bloke).
