I was so afraid I was going to have to make a decision because Finn was limping so badly, but he’s doing a lit better today. I am so relieved. I wish I had the money to pay for every vet visit he needs.

I am so sorry. I just went through this myself. My Nathan passed away at about 16, just two days before his 13th gotcha day.
It’s so painful, and they take a piece of us with them when they go.

Finn keeps looking for his brother, Nathan, who passed away yesterday. We all already miss Nathan so deeply, and I’m doing the best I can to console Finn, no matter the time of night or morning.

Nathan Bob Kimball, my Mr. Snuggles Jellybean, passed away this morning. He was about 16 years old, and he was the sweetest little angel you’d ever meet. He is already deeply missed. My heart is broken.

The new logo was stupid, though. They took the history and story out of it, which is stupid. I’m not angry, though, and yesterday I had lunch at Cracker Barrel, I really did.

I had to take the old dogs (pictured is Finn), Finn and Nathan, and our pandemic “puppy” Leo on a second walk today. They were all extra energized and up to no good. 🥰 It was a ploy, I’m sure of it. 😂 We had a fun second walk, and there were lots of opportunities to train Leo - Finn helped. ❤️

Mom and I are working on bread for our biggest wholesale client 😃 We don’t have deck ovens or stones, but we have to make it work. I think we are! Also, I think I can get this to rise higher in the commercial ovens (test at home), even though they’re the wrong kind. Fingers crossed!!

This is what I mean. The bunks look similar, but less substantial, and in Auschwitz the barracks were made of brick. Those who were not immediately put to death had more protection from the elements.

I love that my Nathan, who has a bad case of sundowners (we give him meds at night) will calm down and go to sleep at night, when he’s having a bad night, after I pick him up to give him snuggles and love and remind him who he is and that he’s loved. That usually helps a lot. ❤️
