I went for a hike with @ruckusthepuppus in Samuel P Taylor park. The redwoods really are amazing every time. I used focus stacking to get the whole tree in focus. Other pictures here are HDR to capture the sun and shade.

We used to have food safety that worked. I'm going to call it "DEI food safety". I guess we can call the broken stuff "merit based food safety". See also aircraft, weather forecasting, national parks, trade, diplomacy, etc.

Went down to Ocean Beach and saw the velella velella. They are blue when they first wash up, but they dry out clear.
