Prospective grad students would be wise and fortunate to join your group!

Best wishes on your projects and thank you for all your great #SciComm outreach work @ukhadds.bsky.social! 👏🙏

The aerosol trapping reminds me of the acoustic microfluidic trapping project I worked on in grad school 🙂

Safer Holiday Travel 🧵

Vehicles are often hot spots for airborne transmission since #CovidIsAirborne but simple interventions drastically reduce risk of presymptomatic transmission:

• Turn recirculation mode off
• Use a CO₂ meter
• N95 if in doubt
• Two slightly open windows generate air flow

Grotesque to laugh about an easily disproven conspiracy meme such as that.

Millions of people have been killed by SARS-CoV-2 already. Every one had family, friends, careers, and passions.

Lucky you to be in a privileged position to outright deny the deaths and disability SARS-CoV-2 has wrought.

Maybe they would.

Harder to say no if you made one especially decorated to be kid friendly and put a sticker “a gift from local students to BC Children’s Hospital”

Add a bin with some balloons as a fun waiting room activity
