Every time I see this image, all I can think is how many of these characters look like variations of Pee wee Herman

Exact same thing happened to my grandpa (also Texan) when he joined the army. DB became Donly Bonly.

Oh yeah, and also... go Suns

"Fearmongering" is exactly right. There's a big difference between advocating for stuff like better air filtration, vaccinations, masking and testing when appropriate, compared to these holier-than-thou types who spend all day attacking anyone who doesn't share their obsession.

Hell yeah

That sounds like the Bill Clinton "soft thumb". That's the earliest example I'm aware of at least.

My household watched the 1st season too and we all had the exact same reaction. Zero hesitation, even despite the conservative takeover at the top of the company.

Yeah, if the framerate is stable then that would be my guess what's causing it. I don't believe there's anything you can do about those either, it's just how those emulators work, regardless of the hardware running them. Some micro stutters will be there on any first playthrough.

If you replay those sections, do they still stutter? I think those Switch emulators have the same little slowdowns as GC/Wii/3DS when compiling shaders for the first time.

Anime, comic books, and wrestling are all filled with soap opera storylines. When you try to maintain high drama over the course of an extremely long-form narrative, eventually you feel the need to introduce an identical twin cousin or two.

Pretty sure he tried a similar line on the Daily Show as well.

Exactly. So much of good storytelling relies on tight control over the flow of information, to both the characters and the audience. That's hard enough in an interactive medium. But giving up that control to an algorithm to spout whatever, whenever, would destroy any chance for a cohesive story.
