Don't mention family if I remember right but everyone has a mum, distant or otherwise. I'm sure Samuel L. gave his old dear a call once he landed, perhaps a post credit scene I didn't stick around for.

Also you get Richard E. Grant chomping through the scenery as a wonderfully chaotic lead villian. I think they paid him in cocaine, up front, and it is all on screen! One of the best "bad" movies you never let yourself watch. Delightful! youtu.be/KdrNWfFRUoY?...

Outside of Die Hard series and Fifth Element, probably one of Bruce Willis' best action films. If you're revisiting his 90's work, hated as it is, Hudson Hawk, it's nonsense but you'll never see him enjoying himself on screen as much as he is in this film.
