i totally understand. anyone can easily get addicted to writing sth like a sestina. sometimes i wish we had these frolic & nonsensical constraints in prose writing, it would help alleviate agoraphobia

edwin was "blocking out the sky with one hand and pretending it, the sky, was not there!" and i was “singing it, dancing it, breaking the fast with a killing spree" and now it makes me really want to play some soccer. googled "pick up soccer as an adult" and found this very well-written advice

our library staff picks osamu dazai's story collection for the summer. seems like the kind of book i want to read in summer and feel good about being bored and restless. love the cover design with this dusty pebble ennui sort of pink. (didn't realize right away that dazai is 太宰治 in english!
