I was a Business Consultant before I retired, helping small and medium sized businesses that were in trouble. While owners intuitively know this, they tend to operate otherwise. Employees are "costs" to them. Not investments.

As a Business Consultant, a couple clients were a body bag manufacturer in northern California who had a side business selling new and refurbished equipment to funeral homes and mortuaries. The other was a funeral home in Iowa.

You really do not want to know what they do with bodies. Trust me.

Well, I do believe we are about to find out. More unwitting or unwitted volunteer human guinea pigs. Big oopsie once they are dead, but that's the price y'pay, just like with the guns.

Too bad.... But money was made! YAY!

And when it fails, you KNOW IT.

The Democratic Party could not fight its way out of a wet paper gerrymander.

They refuse to fight hard, they depend on 1,000-word policy positions, ignore getting shellacked at every turn, and will not FIGHT.

Screw 'em.

Life is easy when you no longer have to think, make decisions that are important, have no need or desire to learn anything new, and simply do not care about anyone or anything outside your own circle of friends and family.

Remember, the enemy of corporations are... unions. One of the largest unions in the country is the teacher's union, as I recall. They busted them here in Wisconsin. So, no public schools, no teacher's unions. Simple!
