Indeed :) I’ve yet to visit the Pen Museum in Birmingham which is in his old factory he also built a rather nice Turkish Bath whilst he was at it…

Isn’t it just it was completely black when I retrieved it from my m-I-law’s shed I sent to a very old firm of brass workers in Birmingham to be cleaned and lacquered it took me months to find another one like it online to understand it would have had a crystal ink bottle in the middle 🥰

I get the same feeling Cathy when I look at this bit of astonishing brass work that we inherited
