okay, my brother just suggested something genius:

he thinks Spotify may count something as a full listen even if I stopped it, for example, 30s early; whereas statsfm counts it exactly to the minute.

guess all that added up a lot over time.

Ik Spotify has its algorithm and it stops tracking early, so the stats are always going to be a little off from what I expect. duh.

but I really can't explain where they got these extra 2,000 minutes of listening from...cause according to statsfm, as of December 4th, I only have 50,000ish...
