I have made a couple specific for bass. Many guitar pedals can be also modded fairly easily to work well with bass by swapping out some capacitors (EQ, boost, overdrive, etc). Here is a demo of a pretty gnarly bass fuzz I made recently in point-to-point style:

YMMV but a blind first play through is 100% my favorite way to experience these games. Makes the stakes feel higher when you don't know when the next checkpoint will be, and makes overcoming the challenge more rewarding. Especially for Dark Souls 1 and Demon's Souls.
