A few pictures from weekend mountaineering a few weeks ago.

Finally went out on the trails in the Cascade foothills east of Seattle. The damage from the windstorm last moth is almost surreal. Trees by the hundreds fallen like matchsticks.

Remember these “promises”, and use them when not a single one is honored. His policies will hurt his own followers the most, this has been the story of Trump’s entire “career”.

Pretty lenticular cloud on Mt Rainier.

A nice drizzly walk in the forest this morning to clear my head for the day.

Fall in the Pacific Northwest is so picturesque.

Originally had Aconcagua on my climbing list, but might get displaced by Chopicalqui, just shy of 21,000 ft. Not as tall as Aconcagua at just shy of 23,000ft, but more visually appealing. Would love to hear any feedback by someone who has climbed both.

*Now* we know why Gaetz resigned from Congress.

Can everyone start talking about audits and recounts now? America has been hijacked by one of our greatest adversaries. The Cold War never ended, America just stopped talking about it. Russia never quit.

For the next four years, I think I’ll be swearing off news, and spending any free time in the mountains, no cell service, great views, and wonderful climbing partners.
