I have a feeling the mark up is huge. Can’t imagine the importer pays more than $2 a cup delivered to a US port. With tariff maybe $5. If the price goes up more than $3-4 then the importer or retailer is price gouging. We will see much bigger increases on higher $ items that have less markup.

Farmers will just get bailed out by Trump like in 2019. Lumber exporters like me will be screwed again. (China buys a $1B of hardwood lumber from the US each year) I have containers on the water to China shipped in March and have to divert to Vietnam at a loss. China will just buy from Canada now.
