If the options are replacing her with Joe Kent (or a look-alike) and someone much farther to the left, NONE of us are going to get what we want. At least we are in compromise territory, which I think is a good, though rare, place to be

Granted, I wish she voted more progressively on some issues, but her votes on rural issues are on par with what my neighbors are concerned with, and that's important as well.

I live in a rural part of her district, but lived in Vancouver for decades, so I'm aware of the disconnect/divide between the communities. While I vote moderate>progressive, I think she's doing a good job balancing a district with VERY opposing views on many matters.

Our Reps can represent their districts while still representing more nuanced needs from their own, personal communities.

Her district is strongly purple and her voting record shows she works for ALL of her constituents: www.govtrack.us/congress/mem...

My dog (Border Collie) was crate trained as soon as I brought her home. She cried for a couple nights for about an hour, after that, it was just her bed. Today, (she's 3) that's her place to go when she wants some quiet time. The door is never closed, but that's her safe space and she loves it!
