Looking from magnolia in Seattle it kept looking like there was a fire between Seattle and rainier but didn’t see a corresponding fire on watch duty . Figured I just couldn’t see the smoke wrapping around the sound from the peninsula.

Yeah I backpacked out to baker lake in the evening for the October one . Don’t like night hikes but I think I got like 1300 shots from that trip and I didn’t need a headlamp to walk around. So wild.

She is one of 2 rescues I have from Taiwan and I accidentally trained her for this cause the week she landed in Seattle my friends and I took her backpacking so we had to have her sleep inside the bag with us since she was all of 10 lbs and 4 ish months old. Here I am 50 lbs later and 7 years later
