I bought another tumbler identical to the first —except color. I would take the blueish one on trips and forget to bring it back to the office. Not about using hotel room machines. It heats approx 16oz of liquid in under a minute. It’s it pretty? Best office-travel gadget list.

My daughter capturing big horn sheep in Taos today. She’s the photographer—I’m not. She has a degree in wildlife, conservation, ecology and two others in anthropology. She took some great photos. I was in the car with the AC on. Haha. 🥵🔥

The water reached Las Cruces today. The Rio Grande does not flow year-round down south; it gets released from Elephant Butte Dam around the end of May and the beginning of June. I always miss the year-round flowing water of northern NM. #Norteña.

Folks wonder what the I10 east/west corridor is like & don’t understand the road closures due to dust storm—zero visibility. As we passed Lordsburg the interstate was shut both ways. We were fortunate & missed the worst of it. I followed a work truck w/great emergency lights.

We picked up these freeze-dried ice creams from the Space Center Houston a while back. We finally tried them. They are crunchy and weird because, well, ice cream, but they taste the same—yummy.
