Getting book suggestions @paizo.com ? 😂 Highly Rate both Dungeon Crawler Carl and He Who Fights With Monsters. Both are LitRPG books so the characters get levels like characters in an RPG. Technically, HWFWM is Cultivation rather than LitRPG because they don't have HP or Exp but still have levels

Oh! Also, I love the picture of Kyra and Merisiel holding hands while Kyra Turns a zombie attacking them

I do love the Sketch Covers of the rulebooks but my favourite bit of art is the original 2nd Edition rulebook

The action is the, the colours are bold, and it screams Fantasy TTRPG to me

It's hit or miss. I really enjoy it but the second trilogy gets a bit meh. I pushed through and it was better in the 3rd trilogy and it's great again in the 4th trilogy. The audio book is excellent - it's just a standard audio book without voice effects like DCC but the voice actor is perfect for it

God, I've read so many books. I love the Dungeon Crawler Carl and He Who Fights With Monsters series - both have some particularly excellent books.

I run HeroQuest for my son and his teenage friends. Goblins are the weakest enemy but we've had several cases where Goblins have rolled better in defence and attack than heroes and it's become a running joke that the goblins are more scary than named monsters in the game!
