I see that, but I think that’s two things. Lack of compassion has more than one cause. Power also reduces empathy. Power upholds capitalism.

I disagree. I see the lack of compassion and empathy in the general population in the US coming from being overstretched, being afraid.

Luckily for the world, the power of prayer is very limited.
