Had the courage to walk at 5:15 AM at the nearest provincial tree park. It was still quite dark, but the dawn was about to break. It was just me, the trees, a little phone flashlight and the tiny crescent moon. It was a bit scary, but the trees were comforting.

If there’s something that continues to be my saving grace year after year, it’s compassionate, loving, kind communities. I am immensely grateful for these communities, however small, bring so much healing and hope in challenging days.
