It would be easy to dismiss “The Marcus-Nelson Murders” as a made-for-TV movie or simply as the precursor to the “Kojak” series. But it's a hell of a lot more than that, and a sobering, stark reminder of our not-so-distant past.

Taking a group of 40-plus speech and debate students to George Mason University for a tournament this weekend. Starting out with a tour on the Mall in DC shortly. No, there are no stores.
