Well, even if that is the case (is it?), 2 wrongs don’t make a right. He also peddled the theory that this bill will bring back manufacturing to the Rust Belt, but when asked how, he responded that tax cuts would incentivize business growth.

Also, as a counterfactual, where would our liberal media system be if we still had the Fairness Doctrine (dismantled in 1987)? Forget NPR, blame the commercial media groups who lobbied for “freedom”… to exploit readers by any means, ethical or not.

It’s alarming to see so many comments attacking NPR, arguing the org platformed or enabled Trump. This only serves the rightward political current: stoking animosity towards yet another public institution. This is the moment to uplift NPR—a major source of sanity in this chaos—not tear them down.
