One indication that career lawyers w/ subject matter expertise have been sidelined from the boat strike business is that the admin is citing irrelevant OLC opinions from 1984 and 1994 to supposedly bolster its argument for why US strikes are not "hostilities." 6/n

I’m proud to say that my office once beat the Heritage Foundation with baseball bats. OK, it was the think tank softball league many decades ago, but the grudge match did make the network news.
