David seeing Charlie & his brother & his dad have a relationship that HE never had is a powerful moment there, but I wonder how they manage to translate that to the movie given in the movie Charlie doesn't have a little brother...

(I want the movie to come out soon, not next summer/fall!)

If only they'd ever bring back the chicken fajitas for me!

It's a two day drive at least, unless you're some kind of super-human that can drive 20 hours straight.

"Huge" is underselling it.

It's way beyond "Huge".

Yeah, I took some out of town friends there last year and we spent nearly an HOUR there... their minds were blown.

EVERY time I drive to Dallas, I stop at the Czech Stop.

There's ALWAYS a line. But the Kolaches are worth it.

Worth it.
Make plans to buy shit. Great road food.
And don't forget a bag of beaver nuggets!

Wrong and wrong.

Chuck Schumer didn't cave!

Come on, Wil, be smarter! It was a master class in political ploy. He laid a trap and the GOP walked right in it. There was NO CHANCE the GOP would take them up on it, and now Schumer and Dems have them on record, undermining any argument that this is the Dem's fault.

ME TOO! First album I bought with my own money. I forget how old I was, but I played this thing to death. We didn't have headphones, and only had a communal stereo (console) at the time, so my parents put with a lot I guess! I cranked that thing!

A seriously under-rated movie.

The latest scam, apparently. It's happening to many, but it's totally sketchy.

You're not supposed to wrap it in a tortilla, John.

I think my favorite has become pumpkin pancakes, as made by a local diner (Kerbey Lane). I look forward to their pumpkin pancakes every year. They are SO good.

If you want a little non-spoiler plot summary:

"It is a gay-themed comedy about four friends who get caught up in ill-fated attempt to scam a Mafia family by faking a marriage and absconding with the cash & gifts that the prospective wealthy in-laws will shower on the lucky couple."

Hijinx ensue.

There's a book I like to recommend. Pretty old now, but it's the most laugh-out-loud hilarious book I've ever read:

"Blue Heaven" by Joe Keenan.

From the first sentence to the last, it's just a master-class in writing, in comedy, characters, and plotting.

HIGHLY recommended.
