I don't think the narrative matters. Doesn't matter who "played to win", what matters is who won and got the three points. We play well, don't create enough, have lots of injuries and drop points to opposition's "one strike in a million". This story sounds familiar. The real question is why...

Four moments we didn't live up to our potential: Martinelli non-pass to Gyokeres, Merino pass to Gabriel instead of shooting, Gyokeres not realising Odegaard would play him through in the box, Eze going down instead of shooting.
