I kind of hemmed and hawed about posting this. I haven’t been present on social media in awhile. On Thursday of this week my sweet baby girl Basil met her loved one Kiwi over the rainbow bridge. It feels like I’ve lost a piece of myself. She developed a tumor and while I’m devastated she is gone-

Yes! The one on the left is my little girl Basil who passed away recently. The right is her pair Kiwi who went over the rainbow bridge last year. It’s one my favorite photos of my budgies. 💕 If you’d like another please let me know!

Coming back from the land of the lurking. Had to pour one out for my oven mitts that I’ve had for over 10 years that I got from the dollar tree in my second year of college. They’ve been through a lot. Sorry to see them go. 🫡

Rode the train for as long as I could. I hadn’t really used Twitter consistently and I was just looking at mobile game stuff. I won’t be updating the app so lil Twitter bird can be preserved. So long Twitter!

Happy Budgie day! If it wasn’t for this lil girl Goober, I’m not sure if I would love budgies as much as I do today. (Her name was actually Goober haha, we thought she was a boy) They have such small bodies but have so much love to give 🫶 #budgie #worldbudgieday

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted pictures of some food I made. With a slightly larger kitchen now, it was actually pretty fun to make chicken parm! It was pretty yummy 😌 (Shoutout to Momma Sam cause her spaghetti sauce is the best 💕)

So after +10,000 random encounters and around ~150 eggs I can say I finally found shiny Starly! I found 4 shiny bidoofs and one shiny shinx during my hunt!

I’ve been trying help my little girl not feel lonely since Kiwi passed. Today I moved her little perch tree closer to me and I placed her on it. She preened herself and quickly fell asleep. 🥹💕

I’ve been kind of really thinking about how to post this. And I did kind of try but it’s hard. Kiwi my little boy passed away this week. He had a tumor near his leg and there was nothing I could really do for him. Not that I didn’t try so hard to. Rest in peace sweet little man 💕

Lil man is hanging in there today. I think he is feeling better today but it’s a little rainy so it’s a low vibe kind of day. He still doesn’t want to use his foot but he seems better today than previous days.
