- take notes and organize them- own all roadmaps/to do lists- ensure every meeting starts with an agenda and ends with a list of action items and who owns each with an ETA- follow up/pester consistently until things get done-

- you have to have specific, measurable value metrics to be managed to and used for sales

5) Keep things moving
- A PM has to be THE motive force behind the product development process - l’etat c’est moi- How does a product end up a year late? One day at a time.

6) Understand technical issues enough to make decisions
- partnership with engineering lead is crucial.

3) Talk to users all the time
- write down everything they say (and don't lose the record) - input from users is gold- record it, organize it, and refer back to it

4) Be an honorary designer
- talk to your designers every day- a PM has to be the driver of the design process
