Agree but w/ speed of the game and as it currently exists, they’d still need some sort of lightweight soft protection
AND massive fines and lengthy suspensions for violators of head-to-head etc rules. Ball carriers would also need to be held accountable for lowering heads. So much has to change.

Media should ask tougher q’s. Not saying you, but these people need to be held accountable somewhat. People are soft about CLE and their acceptance of Deshaun meanwhile I can’t ever respect Stefanski or FO/fanbase again. Harbaugh and Co small people as well. Stand up for something.

I don’t hate baseball. I grew up on it and have forgotten more things from early 90’s to 2010’s baseball than you likely even know. It has fallen off with youth. It has fallen off with adults.
Always amazed the “purists” defend what it is… only allowing it to die slowly. It’s an inferior product.

Grew up playing both league and travel ball. Remember ending practice at midnight for travel after league games earlier in the night. I breathed the sport, big dog. Barely follow it now bc of it being boring.

Couple of things: let defense push their giant DT’s (currently illegal and unfair offense gets to but D cannot), and irrespective of fairness, it is such a boring play. Think of all these incredible “non-rush push” play failures and successes we’re being robbed of.

I have vivid memories of being at my friend’s house in middle school and watching the downhill snow bike races… nobody could stop at the finish and just would each slam into the padded boundary wall. So good.
