The ACLU has filed a lawsuit against Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.

No 8th grader should be told to "go back to your country" and be treated this way. P-CCS must protect our kids.

Plymouth Community Collective endorses liberal democracy. Can't believe we have to say it.
On this #NoKings Day, let's review the bill of grievances from the 1776 Declaration of Independence against King George III. We're checking a lot of boxes here... 🚫👑

Astroturfing is under way at P-CCS. At the last Board of Education meeting, numerous White Christian Nationalists spoke out about DEI, book banning, demonic rainbows, and more.

We'll keep saying this - food insecurity is a policy choice. Michiganders should not be going hungry in the world's wealthiest country while giving billionaires tax breaks.
Whitmer: Trump's 'big, beautiful bill' could cost Michigan $900 million a year for food stamps
Michigan's State Budget Office says the changes to the federal food assistance program could hit the state budget hard.

Healthcare inequality is a policy choice.
Food insecurity is a policy choice.
Wealth inequality is a policy choice.

Saddling future generations with limitless budgets for death and destruction IS A POLICY CHOICE.
-$700B in cuts to Medicaid
-$500B in cuts to Medicare
-$300B in cuts to SNAP

+$1T ($1,000,000,000,000) budget for the Pentagon......

And tax cuts for billionaires ballooning the national debt.

What's the saying about showing me your budget and I'll show you your values?

Here's a crazy idea: instead of kicking 10 million Americans off of health insurance, Congress could just eliminate the trillions of dollars in tax breaks for the ultra wealthy & slash the bloated trillion dollar Pentagon budget.

Seems like a painfully easy fix, no?

FYI to Michigan voters - there are now two ballot proposals seeking to disenfranchise voters over a statistically non-existent problem.

These proposals are bad-faith and bad for Michigan communities.
Michigan could have two nearly identical proof-of-citizenship measures on the ballot in 2026
Getting both measures to the ballot could be difficult because of laws around signing the same petition twice.
