not only did the traveler have more voiced lines and feel like an character with more agency this time around but there were quite a few conversations between other chars we got to see that didn’t even involve the traveler…and i think it really served to flesh out the other characters well

genshin’s worldbuilding and music have always been its strong points but they also did step up their story and writing game this region and i honestly think the time they took with characterization played a big role in that too…
