Joining a grassroots group (canvassing for petitions) helped me network with people who share my righteous anger, and that feeling of community gave me a huge boost of empowerment and hope. When I start to burn out, I come to BlueSky to look at bird feeds.

I guess that would be the next strategy to circumvent the blocks. Boo.

My favourite feature of BlueSky is the ability to use moderation lists to mute/block accounts with a humanly impossible following number. I doubt it would help much with new bots, but eventually they’d hit the threshold. Hopefully, if enough people do it, it’ll reduce their influence.
