I spent today helping look after my wife's friend's one year old. Any time I'd smile at them, they'd chortle back at me. I honestly feel like I have a new best friend.

Just tried Raglan Roast's Sparkling Espresso Sunrise canned iced coffee. The flavours have no interplay. Their chocolatey espresso stands in defiance of the crisp citrusy flavours. And it's so instantly wrong, it's like a canned double take.

So the daughter in Netflix's La Palma received a text message while boarding the plane, then turned her phone off, exited the plane, never turned her phone back on, and never let anyone know she decided to stay. Look, I guess I just don't understand modern teenagers.

Another casualty of cuts. After 20 years of service dogsafety.govt.nz has been decommissioned. I will remember you always for your 'Fetch' button, and for teaching me that I bookmark websites using Ctrl+D - which I promptly did, and have accidentally opened at least once a month since.
