You are here because you read my words and got mad before you understood them.
Muslims are what Muslims are. It's okay to be different, you can be different somewhere else.

Your logical fallacy is no true scotsman
You made what could be called an appeal to purity as a way to dismiss relevant criticisms or flaws of your argument.

He's obviously up to something. Perhaps evidence has been destroyed, or perhaps we'll see thousands of pages of nothing but redaction.

I hate fake retail interaction. I know it's forced on employees and it's a manipulation tactic. It's just awkward. What can I say in that situation to defuse it?

I'm under the impression she was allowed to report the SA. Everything seems to be in order.

Detained? That's it? Can you be more specific about the problem here?

I don't go to Starbucks because of tipping culture. I don't go a lot of places for that reason.

Who has actual TV any more who isn't 65 years old? When your demographic is nothing but grandmas the Hallmark channel is a winner.

It's not okay to eat people just because somebody somewhere else got away with eating people.

How has she clearly not broken any laws?
November 1, 2025 at 6:55 PM
There's no context. For all we know she literally just got off a plane and presented a passport made of macaroni and glue. There's no way to have an opinion.

Intelligence testing has always shown slight consistent differences in mean scores between races, but it's a mistake to take it too seriously, random deviation from the mean is vastly more important for evaluating individuals. It's also a mistake to pretend it doesn't exist, because it does.

As I said before, scientists who study such things have become very good at it, and perhaps it's better to listen to them instead of some random joe-bob plumber from Alabama on Twitter who figures he knows everything.

I used cultural agnosticism as an example of how an IQ test can control for certain differences. There are may issues that can confound such test results, this is an example of one tactic that can be used to help control one of those issues.

A culturally agnostic question is one that can be understood and answered by people from different cultural backgrounds without needing specific cultural knowledge. These questions are designed to be neutral, avoiding references to specific customs, beliefs, etc.

You know, and I know, and everyone knows. You aren't this dumb, you are just engaging in rhetoric to manipulate your audience.
October 29, 2025 at 8:10 PM
They don't measure cultural differences, they use culturally agnostic questions.

There *seems* to be a small genetic component but it is small enough to have low importance and leave questions about what causes it. Small differences are harder to pin down. Scientifically speaking I don't see why it wouldn't be genetic, but it sure is politically troubling.

The dearth of performance on IQ tests in sub-Saharan Africa appears to be largely the result of culture. Farmers (for example) never learn to think abstractly and thus perform poorly on IQ tests.
October 28, 2025 at 10:51 PM
This is true but trivial. Scientists who study IQ have become extremely good at controlling for these effects.

Political involvement invites scrutiny. He's not being specially targeted, he's waving a flag that says "enforce my codes".

Let me clarify: I don't object to people being uncomfortable during execution. Let's not get medieval with the methods, and let's go ahead and work toward decreasing unnecessary suffering and such, but let's do it anyway.
October 24, 2025 at 11:29 PM
I think the trouble with the death penalty is knowing for sure that people are guilty, not whether being executed is especially comfortable.

If three A+ students can earn degrees instead of one BCD student while using the same resources then what should we prioritize?

I'm not so sure frogs get stronger by banding together. I'm pretty sure I could overpower 5000 frogs with like no effort.

Many Americans know what Dems are and what ACA is and what the shutdown is, but few Americans know the relationship between these things.

You are asking pigeons to do addition.
