totally! after trying out some editor-embedded ai features i.e tab-complete and all that i realized i much prefer having to consciously navigate to the regular chat interface and re-explain my intentions/provide context on my own. kind of like pair programming except they can't see everything lol

i think what changed my mind about AI use in coding is learning exactly what people mean by "vibing" out code. i didn't realize people were truly giving up the infrastructural aspects of programming. imo this separates the people who see programming == coding i.e vomiting characters onto the screen

the negativity is forced imo im just happy iphone-windows connections are way less painful with nearly most in-built os apps being synced
