I personally think in your situation is more about sharing/talking about, or promotion than purchasing. You got them before, and you own them and have every right to enjoy. I've got plenty of things that I don't post online because I have no obligation to, and noones the wiser

I don't address lgbt or gender issues barely at all with my family. Its easier and less emotionally stressful to just not include them in that part of my life
