Comparing star and willow...despite using the same pattern they came out quite different, especially in weight (star is heavier). I constructed their hats in different ways (which order i sewed the pieces in) and star's looks really polished and is easier to do :3 now i have one more to add...

Star is almost done :3 i just have to sew on her leg ruffles, fill her bottom with sand, and attach her head! #ooak #dollmaking

Progress update on my newest doll ^,^ I learned a lot from assembling this pattern once before, shes coming out real cute! Last night i made her bowtie (doing that instead of a neck frill cuz she has braids), n im in the process of making her hair bows rn. #sewing #dollmaking

I dont have a good enough camera to pick up how nice it looks irl, but I blushed willow last night...I went back and forth on whether to add blush or not, but it really adds so much with so little to a doll :3 #dollmaking #sewing

A video of willow ^,^ it has just enough sand in the body to weight the little butt down, but otherwise is floppy. Im finally narrowing down my construction preferences. Lots of experimenting left to do tho. #dollmaking #ooak #sewing

Im perpetually experimenting when i sew, i didnt plan to finish this doll this way, but it worked out pretty good. Ill be adding some ruffles around the neck, wrist, and ankles. I have the hat to add, and have to embroider the face. #dollmaking #sewing

Recently adopted a vintage plush, as Im wont to do...:P gave her a little bath, replaced her hat tassel, and fixed the sleeve and leg holes since the old elastic was shot.

Just bragging because i recovered my ironing board and it looks amazing now u3u
Lovely thrifted 100% cotton fabric...that i didnt realize had a bunch of stains til i inspected it closer at home :'( but that just meant it was the perfect fabric in my stash to use for this project.

Misha might have allergies or something (we are trying to figure it out), the vet gave me a plastic cone to keep her from licking herself, so I just used that as a pattern to make her a cloth one instead...she got used to it pretty quick and doesnt seem to mind it. Very easy project

Not sewing much recently, it ebbs and flows for me and ive been busy with other urgent stuff. I did take vanessa out on a walk the other night tho :3

Assembled! I added some sand to her ears, too. Not entirely sure about how im gonna do the face yet...but thats all the sewing i get to do today. #sewing

Been sewing up a storm the last few days. Tackled another prototype, this one is a larger pattern i made scaled way way down. Wasnt intended to be a bunny but thats what it looks like, so im going with it lol. Sand in the legs, fluff in the head. Needlesculpting to come.

Been struggling to finish up my sewing wips and realized i just needed to sew something new, so yesterday i tried out this mandrake pattern i drafted ages ago and it works great! So cute and funny. Ill be adding the rest of the details eventually but it was so nice to make a creature again
