Indie author and friendly monster. I make serial entertainment and games for people (and monsters) of all ages. Bit of a loudmouthed socialist. He/him.
But he is not forgotten.

There's no GoFundMe, no donation link. No amount of money is going to save him.

I just want people to see his dear little face, and to know what a special little guy he is.

He's my sweet little sunshine boy, and I love him so much it's breaking my heart.

Cling to that idea, because we both know the real truth is that it would be some awful LLM-driven monstrosity where you have to raise a clutch of Tilly Norwoods by feeding them NFTs.

It was weird behaviour but not nearly as baffling as the random person who interrupted a conversation on a TTRPG discord server to disagree with the statement "D&D has its origins in wargames" with no reasoning or evidence given besides a firm and unwavering "no it doesn't".

It's not that they didn't LIKE it, they literally refused to believe it was real. I showed them the website and the rules pdf, and they said that it was a hoax I had created to make fun of them. It didn't even have a monster manual or an equipment list.

One time I was challenged to name a system that was easier to learn than D&D by a couple of people who had never tried anything but D&D before. When I told them about L&F, I was accused of "making it up" and that it was "broken" because it was only one page.
You just can't win with some people.

Upon further thought, it would actually be pretty funny for the US to try to insist the space race was still going only to immediately lose.

I don't disagree with you about the empty slogans stuff, but the "space race" is kind of an arbitrary finish line that the US only claims because it discounted every single other accomplishment in space exploration up to that point and only focuses on the one thing they did before the USSR.

Last month someone started blaming me for getting Trump elected because I didn't vote in the US election. When I asked if that made them responsible for the Tories over here in the UK, they blocked me.

I don't think I'll ever fully understand Bluesky.

Why a butterfly and not a spooky ghost? 👻

Someone once said to me, "an artist's sketch shows the promise and potential of the finished piece, but a writer's WIP just looks like bad writing."

As frustrating as it is true.
