Adding this fun fact to my ice breaker repertoire: I am only 1 of 4 people that watched this 70s Christian film on Letterboxd. And the VHS that was on repeat as a kid. I have to keep those numbers low so it remains interesting. But this wasn't one of the big ones like "A Thief in the Night"

Adding this fun fact to my ice breaker repertoire: I am only 1 of 4 people that watched this 70s Christian film on Letterboxd. And the VHS that was on repeat as a kid. I have to keep those numbers low so it remains interesting. But this wasn't one of the big ones like "A Thief in the Night"

Also, I found out that the Grandpa in Ben 10 wears the same shirt as Dale from Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers. A guy at Disneyland once pointed it out and I had no idea what he was talking about. I've never felt so old.

We're headed to the mountains and my kids immediately clocked that I dressed as Dipper from Gravity falls. My wife doesn't watch the show and, for my own amusement, she can not find out.

My sub $5 lunch break thrift store haul. I almost grabbed The Treasure of Sierra Madre, which I watched solely BECAUSE of the UHF reference, but ended up loving. But that disk was all messed up.

I participated in another Game Jam on Itch. Definitely needs a little polishing and play-testing, but this is a 2-player (with 1 player variant) RPG that has players interacting as a late-night Paranormal Radio Show host and a caller.

Finding dead simple RPGs for the kids/nieces to play while camping is becoming an expectation. I busted out Magizioology and it's a huge hit!

To remedy that, we started a game of "By the General's Hand" where we write physical letters to each other as opposing generals of a fictional war!
