I do not wish for, per say, "total annihilation" of the platform itself, but I do wish for change.

**Serious, useful, and EFFECTIVE** change and initiative taken on Roblox's part to ensure actual user safety.

I'm babbling now. I got what I needed to say off of my chest, so I'll go ahead and wrap it up.

A very long story or rant put short from my perspective (TL;DR below):

It's a useless feature. Similar to being able to "call" people using the Roblox app, another useless feature that was briefly implemented then taken away.

Yet useful ideas and suggestions, even little ideas such as the ability to equip more items onto the Roblox avatars, are barely acknowledged.

It's infuriating to watch and be apart of. I remember one of the roadmaps and RDC events telling users of a possible "dating" addition to the website for older users.

Roblox, known for its games and ((somewhat limited)) creative abilities, is not the website to "date" on, even for older users.

It shouldn't be like this.
They keep marketing towards a younger playerbase when those of us who have been online for the longest knows that they are **lying.**

They continue to stand right where they are and accept the flames scorching them, instead of working to diminish them properly.

My prediction, and unfortunate most likely outcome from all of this is that this situation, like everything else, gets swept underneath the rug.

It becomes just "another safety issue" added to the list of issues the platform has already collected. And that's sad.

While this is a good thing, I am still skeptical, because this is not the first time this has happened.

I've already predicted a future outcome for this situation. Do you see how Roblox is responding to the current events now? How corporate it sounds?

Otherwise, this happens. This isn't the first time the platform has been involved in a case like this.

It just happens to be one of the loudest. It's one where a LOT of people are getting involved, some of which possess the ability to do hard damage to the platform's reputation as a whole.

..you need to acknowledge that not everyone on the platform will follow the rules. There will ALWAYS be bad actors on ANY website online.

And with this in mind, there needs to be proper steps and protocols to keep the younger ones, and the actual GOOD playerbase of older users, **safe.**

I know it's a lot to manage. I know they're trying to increase the amount of daily users & profits received, especially from older users such as me and other people who have been attached to the website ever since they were young.

But if you're going to run a platform meant for **all** ages...

...easier to do. They continue to let literal robots, not humans, but flawed **AI**, do the work for them.

And look at where that has gotten us. There's still too many inappropriate items on the platform that kids can easily be exposed to, depending on which game they choose to play.

*Properly* means everyone involved with User Safety sits down and has a serious, lengthy talk about how to prevent predators from getting into contact with children. A talk they should've had AGES ago.

But instead of doing this, they continue to sweep it under the rug because it's apparently...

I'm not talking about the money I spent recently. I'm talking about the entire timeline that I've been playing Roblox.

And I'm not talking about the time I've spent online recently. I've been on that site since I was a child, and to this day, these issues have yet to be discussed *PROPERLY.*

And I don't want to see it all go to waste.

I very much enjoy playing on the website, but I'm expecting the current events to be a massive wake-up call for the CEO, the CSO, and everyone involved with keeping the platform afloat from a higher status than the normal civillian.

Now, we do not like the roads that the platform plans to take or has already taken in some areas. Nor do we appreciate the current state of moderation the platform has.

But I, myself, personally do not wish for the platform to completely shut down. Too much time and money has gone into Roblox..
