On US Mercari I was seeing her for under 30 usd nib plus maybe 8 dollar shipping. That is under her original retail price iirc. Her pants are hands down my favorite out of any RH/SH doll. She does have metallic nylon tho, hence why I’ve braided it. I’ve changed other things but she keeps the pants!

I think I said as much last year but I will say it again, please please please Mattel give one of your other Latina girlies a chance. This is the third year in a row we’ve gotten a ddm skelita and of course she looks beautiful and even better than the last one but I just wanna see something else

Hello followers and dollsky it’s been 300 years, just here to say I picked up that new meline on sale for 13.99 at target and she’s soooo worth it with a little restyle. If only she came with this stand instead of that hair chalk, now that would be perfection #dollsky
Meline luxe from the hair chalk and style line. I’ve given her a cream off the shoulder ribbed top, lilac lane’s lilac pleated checkered skirt, white stockings, and Sheryl meyers shoes. I also put her on a gold stand (not included unfortunately). Her hair is solidly bleach blond compared to her first release and she has the most beautiful two tone lips, brown fading into a muted red

Junior high Avery was on clearance for 12 dollars at Marshall’s… I couldn’t resist. Her outfit is super well constructed and I love this shade of hair once you get most of the tinsel out lol. If her original doll looked like this with a rooted wig I probably would have wanted her more.

She has lavender hair with bangs, and she originally had tinsel but I pulled most of it out. She is wearing a matching black crop top with off the shoulder sleeves and a black skirt with pockets, belt loops, and a row of pleats at the bottom. All of this is embroidered by rainbow thread. She also wears a silver necklace with rainbow stars. Her shoes are white chunky sandals with black bottoms.

Last, and historically least, Violet. Except this time I love her. She’s giving kids movie princess and I love it. It’s so camp. The only thing I would have changed is maybe not tennis shoes but if I get her then I could probably find something else for her to wear

Here’s Bella. I don’t… care for her. I like most of her pieces (not you plastic skirt) but something about her face looks so washed out. I’ve never been a big Bella enjoyer anyways, but considering her witch doll was incredibly peak I’m not sure anything they make now could top that.

The shirt hides her pink skirt but I can tell it’s plastic or rubber and has some pink bow details. She wears a clear pink pair of Mary janes with a red bow on them. Her accessories include a headband with a pink candy piece on it, a pair of glasses with pink accents on the bottom, pink earrings with some kind of shape I can’t make out, a pink candy purse, and a ring for you. Light pink molds correspond to her accessories, presumably for the gimmick of this line

Here is Skyler. Now, I’ve always kind of had a problem with her bc they can’t make up their mind about which shade of blue she represents but I like their choice here. I think she’s cute. I don’t have a Skyler so I’m honestly considering it bc I’m a sucker for the bear theme here.

It is styled into 2 small pulled back pigtails while the rest of it is straight and loose. She appears to be wearing a translucent babydoll dress with puffed sleeves that is split down the middle. There is a bear themes corset made of clear plastic that covers her torso so I’m unsure if there is an under piece for the dress. She wears a plain blue miniskirt under the dress, and she has Mary Jane shoes with bows on her feet. She comes with a bear ear headband, sunglasses, bear earrings, a bear shaped purse, and a ring for you, all in clear blue plastic. For the accessories, there is a set of molds corresponding to them that likely have something to do with the gimmick.

Moving on, here is Amaya. I think her look is cute but it feels kind of basic, especially compared to Iris . Note that her skirt may be Plastic which is Bad. It’s kind of a bummer that if you bought her as an adult collector you’d probably want a new articulated body and a new skirt…

She wears a light pink hoodie that says rainbow with a rainbow on it, and a white plastic skirt with gold zipper detailing. Her shoes are simple hot pink strappy sandals. She comes with clear and gold unicorn headphones, hot pink glasses, a clear unicorn purse, black earrings with a wing, and a ring for you. Corresponding molds exist for all of her accessories, likely for the gimmick that I do not know about.

This is the new character, Iris Bow. She reminds me a lot of Vanessa tempo who I STILL DON’T HAVE so I may get her. Her outfit is really cute to me and I just love that makeup. The headphones in this line are childish but I’m 5 at heart so I like them too.
The new debut for this line, Iris Bow. She has brown skin and painted rainbow edges. Her hair seems to have 2 buns with all the rainbow colors in them as well as another section in the back of her hair that you can see from the front. The rest is brown, and the texture is a relatively loose curl. Her shirt is a crop top with a sequin gradient from red to purple, and her skirt is white asymmetrical with rainbow colored line details. Her boots are a clear red with painted rainbow buckles. She comes with headphones with a star piece, earrings in a rainbow shape, a purse with a rainbow shape, glasses, and what I can only assume is a ring for you. All of these pieces are clear red though given by the corresponding molds, I would say this might have something to do with the gimmick, of which I have no idea what it is nor do I want to know

Also follow up to Marshall’s post, some folks have been saying that Ross is getting the overstock of series 4 and Jewel Richie is one of my grails so I decided to go check on a whim. This is what my Ross had:
Three of the budget Sheryl Meyer dolls. She has no articulation besides the basic 5 points and has a heavily watered down version of her original plaid yellow clueless inspired outfit (it’s just a plaid dress with a belt now). Note that this doll is retailing for 15 dollars here…

Here is my Dia if you are not familiar with her. I love her purple skin and I think she looks so much better if you wash out that nasty gel. A restyle really helped me fall in love with her too but I think her pieces are awesome and the Rihanna look was really classy

I think Tessa park is a really underrated doll in the rainbow high royal 3 line compared to Minnie and Tiara. And I’m mostly not saying this to cope bc I don’t have tiara and she’s way too expensive secondhand and I always miss out when she’s in reasonably priced lots… #dollsky
