Overall - I was impressed by this brand’s uniqueness amidst the flash flood of basic vanillas we’ve been dealing with recently. However, longevity wasn’t great on any of them, and I would HIGHLY recommend sampling first. Let me know if you’ve smelled these too! 🫶🏻👨🏼‍🔬✨

#7 - Invisible Woods

If only this were invisible. I think the creative team ran out of time and decided to sell melted vaporub and tums. It’s offputtingly herbal in a way that doesn’t smell like fragrance. This is what I think Erewhon smells like. 3/10

#6 - Reclaimed Flame

The grapefruit intrigued me but this is no firestarter. There’s an overpoweringly spicy turmeric note that smells like chasing a juice cleanse with buffalo wings. Screechy, sharp and weird/10

#5 - Grassland Opera

My favorite of the whole line. Spicy, ambery and slightly powdery, with a dry, grassy finish. Like if Elizabeth Taylor went tradwife. There’s a beautiful, smoky earthiness in the drydown I can’t get enough of! 8.5/10

#4 - Floating Forest

A lush aquatic floral with a green, peppery depth. I loved it despite my terminal gourmand brainrot! Super refreshing and serene. This has a “wet stone” note which confuses me… did they bring a bag of gravel to Magic Mike? 7.5/10

#3 - Solar Canopy

Just what we needed. Another Delina / Angel Nova tether! It’s a slightly jammy lychee rose with a peppery sharpness. A good go at the DNA, but personally- I don’t want to smell like a fruit salad garnished with thumbtacks. 5/10

#2 - Haunted Rose

Missing in action - my sample packet came with a vial of Solar Canopy. Perhaps a misprint, but it just smells like Solar Canopy. ?/10

#1 - Optimal Habitat Fragrance Primer

Marketing malarkey. This claims to extend the wear of your fragrance to 24 hours - but it did nothing but make me feel stickier than Christina Aguilera in the Dirrty video. 1/10 - for Saltburn bathtub vibes
