While it may look more like a strange breed of turkey, the Horned Screamer lives in marshes, nesting on floating vegetation. 🌱

Out of 361 birds in care, 45 of them are Snowy Egret chicks! 🥹 These delicate babies often fall from their high nests before they’re ready to fly. They're incredibly fragile – requiring careful handling to help them grow strong.

The National Cancer Institute (part of NIH) released new guidelines for "controversial, high-profile or sensitive" keywords that require "review prior to publication" if included in a product or materials.

Keywords include abortion, obesity, and peanut allergies.

It's deeply frustrating to watch people who have no relevant expertise in a subject somehow accrue an audience because of their commentary on a subject, consistently get salient things wrong about it, never admit to those errors, and somehow that record has no meaningful effect on their credibility
