Ring 1998 was next. I've seen this one before, and it is still one of my favorite horror movies. Different from 1995 and the books in mostly positive ways. From this point forward, I'm completely blind. I haven't seen any other except the American remake. Wish me luck. 4.5/5. Great film.

"Ring" 1995 was the first film in the ring franchise, so that's where I started. A strong start for the franchise. It was different than the ones I've seen, closer to the book. It got pretty weird towards the end, but was all around pretty good, especially for a low budget TV movie.
