I've hit my dessert phase. Again with alcohol markers and colored pencils.

I'm fooling around with alcohol markers underneath my colored pencils. The end result is on the left (alcohol markers and Prisma Premiers). Compared to a piece using the same reference in 2023 with Crayola's.

Still working on trying to get better at pet portraits. Here is my Sister-in-law's wonderful dog. Was so much fun to draw!

A throw back to when I first started working with colored pencils and bring a little variety into my art, as opposed to always living in grayscale...

It's been a hot minute since I posted, but I did managed to get the Mando picture finished! Better late than never, right?

Pulling this one out of the archives because I recently re-scanned him in to my computer. One of the first pieces I did that I absolutely fell in love with.

Since it's December, I'll get into the Christmas spirit and bring out this piece from last year that I turned into Christmas cards!

Groot. 9x12" graphite portrait. A fellow streamer's adorable doggo that I just had to draw and improve my pet portrait skills with. Had a blast doing this!

I'm mostly known for doing portraits of humans, but I want to start leaning more into animals. So in between the nerd-centric pieces I'm working on, I'm going to practice pet portraits to broaden my portfolio.

I'm absolutely proud of this piece - Halo's Master Chief - done in graphite on 8.5x11" paper. It was my first attempt at armor, and I think I succeeded!

Going through sketchbook pages on Bluesky makes me wish I had kept my sketchbooks from Highschool to reflect back on. Its also making me realize I want to spend more time in my sketchbook now.

All traditional here!

This is about three or four pieces old at this point, but I realized I didn't post it. It's Ciri from Netflix's The Witcher. Still in love with graphite portraits.

I know I'm known mainly for color, but over the past year and a half I've been trying to get better and working with color. This is the last piece that I did. 5x7 with prismacolor premiers.

My favorite piece I've done to date in graphite has to be Thusnelda from Barbarians

Back to my roots using graphite to complete this Predator piece. Not sure how long it took me, didn't keep track.

I've been suffering from a creative drought when it comes to #art this past two weeks, but finally managed to get this little guy out! I'm actually pretty happy with him. It's a #traditional piece done in colored pencils.

Pushing forth in my #art journey using pencil crayons. This is the first attempt I've done at an animal. Voila! Giraffe. I learned quite a bit from this piece, and cannot wait to sink my teeth into another animal. Any suggestions?
